Acetone

Pure Acetone is a naturally occurring hydrocarbon. Used as a solvent for resins in GRP use, acetone is ideal for clean-ups and removing dust and grease before lamination. Acetone evaporates quickly, and can leave residues if not refreshed frequently. Do not use Acetone as a diluent. Always buy pure acetone – cheaper recycled acetone contains impurities that may be highly carcinogenic. Highly flammable!  Use with gloves as the degreasing action can deplete skin oils.
